Our Company

Intrinsic Landscapes is a family owned landscape design and construction company based in Melbourne. Our aim is to create stunning outdoor spaces that blur the line between indoor and outdoor living. Our landscapes inspire people to get outdoors all year round, no matter the season or weather.

Our concept to completion method is a completely collaborative process with our clients aimed at building and maintaining an excellent working relationship through the consultation, design and construction stages. It is always our objective to deliver a landscape that reflects and enhances our clients’ lifestyles.

Everything is based on our company values and is backed by a dedicated and diligent team that share a love of landscaping and bringing our designs to life. We insist on a high standard of finish and are meticulous in our construction method. You can be sure everything will look fantastic and is built to last.

Our Director

Brenton Stokes

Brenton founded Intrinsic in 2012, after starting his apprenticeship in 2001. Working on high end residential projects from day one, he gained a decade of valuable experience on site and was fortunate to learn from companies and people that were great at their craft. Throughout this time, he gained his Certificate II and III in Horticulture and developed his own design style and ideas on how to best run a business.

Since the company was born in 2012, he has continued his professional development by completing his Certificate IV in Building and Construction, obtaining his Registered Building Licence, becoming a Master Landscaper with Landscaping Victoria and completing business coaching and mentoring courses.

Brenton loves the variety and creativity that landscaping provides along with the satisfaction of transforming an unsightly, dysfunctional space into something special that provides people with a whole new lifestyle.

Our Crew

Our Crew is equal parts enthusiastic, diligent and skilled – landscaping is a challenging job and it takes a certain type of person to do it. These guys embrace the more difficult parts of the job and enjoy the lessons and personal growth they bring. They obviously don’t mind the fun, creative bits either!

They will greet you with a smile each day, be courteous to any visitors and neighbours and generally be a pleasure to have on site or in your home.

The Crew don’t take themselves too seriously but are very serious about delivering the highest quality landscape for you and your family!
